Conference Location

PSi #16 will take place in Toronto, Canada, a vibrant city with a rich culture of site-specific and public art, along with a range of significant galleries, museums, theatres and festivals. The conference will located in an exciting area of Toronto’s downtown core, immediately adjacent to the Art Gallery of Ontario, which recently reopened following a dramatic renovation by Frank Gehry. This location offers easy access to several of Toronto’s most unique neighborhoods, including Chinatown, Kensington Market and the galleries and cafes of Queen Street.

The conference will mainly take place at the Ontario College of Art & Design at 100 McCaul Street. OCAD itself is an architectural landmark in Toronto; in 2004, it completed a redevelopment project which transformed the campus’s main building into a stunning, black and white “flying” tabletop held aloft by brightly coloured crayon legs.
